Kinetic Energy - Thermal Differentials - Reverse Fracturing
| Kinetic Energy is the momentum part. It is the energy associated with mass &
velocity being transfer to a surface being cleaned. |
| Thermal Differentials is established between the surface coating and the substrate as the
cold dry ice pellet (mic rice) impacts with the surface. |
| Reverse Fracturing is when the CO2 gas invades the cracks and pores to
get under the contaminant / coating. As the CO2 warms, it causes
rapid expansion and pushed the contaminant / coating away from the substrate.
The contaminant then falls to the ground and can be collected and disposed
of. |
